At Waltzaway Budgies we pride ourselves in breeding happy and healthy budgies. We breed unusual varieties and have people coming back to us again and again for new additions. Chicks are handled from a week old, are rung with my ring number from the UK Budgie Club and come with a family tree and a lifetime of support and help from us.
I have a number of chicks now feathering up and my waiting list is open for them. I am just able to start sexing them now.
Warrington x Gertie - two yellow and green pied chicks. These two have been supplemented with formula because they became dehydrated with the hot weather so are super friendly. There's one girl and one boy
Monkey x Winter - five gorgeous blue and white chicks. All different. There's definitely a blue and white spangle girl available.
Noel x Elsa - three chicks, a green and yellow pied, a blue and white pied and one that is looking to be a white clearwing. There is a chance of crested in these chicks.
Mackenzie x Eve - 7 chicks - the eldest ones are yellow and blue.
Gerard x Faye - a chunky little blue and white pied.
I've got some pairs who are just starting to lay, from these I should get some spangles, double spangles (both colours), grey wings and normal.
