We are looking for a new home and adventure for our Rottweiler Dottie.
She's an amazing dog who will make someone so happy but sadly that just isn't with us anymore due to impending arrival of a small person and Dotties training is not at a point where it's safe to have a small baby in the same small house.
Dottie is a large dog and is not suited to living with small children as she will knock them over/jump/lick- she is generally well trained but becomes very excitable and forgets all awareness of her size and strength.
She could live with another dog but she can be jealous of human time and attention so is better suited to being an only dog.
Dottie is nearly 3 years old and has been spayed, regularly health checked and is on high quality food.
Dottie is an extremely loving and sensitive dog, who will truly be your best friend. She has huge amounts of energy and will happily walk miles, she also loves a chill and a snooze on the sofa. She has never shown aggression towards people or children and just loves human attention.
Dottie is generally friendly towards other dogs but needs further training on greeting others appropriately when off lead as she can alarm dogs by running at them.
Dottie needs a firm leader who is experienced with large breeds. She walks well on her halti lead but without it she will pull.
Dottie is completely house trained, shows no separation anxiety and is happy to be left for a few hours.
