Ozzy is a nearly 2-year-old large Bedlington Whippet cross with a heart full of love and a serious talent for cuddles. Living with him for the past 18 months has been incredibly fun and joyful. Ozzy has been a wonderful companion—sweet, affectionate, a little crazy and always happiest when he's close to his humans (ideally snuggled right on top of you!).
He’s great with people and has been the goodest boy on holidays and days out. Ozzy would thrive in a rural home with a secure garden as he can be nervous around traffic, but loves to zoom around in the garden or open spaces.
However, Ozzy does have some behavioural needs. He guards food and resting spots from our first dog, which has created tension we can no longer manage, especially with a baby in the house. While he’s never shown aggression towards people, we’re looking for a pet-free, adult-only home where he can be the only animal and get the attention he deserves.
He also struggles with being left alone, so needs a home where someone is around most of the time.
Ozzy isn’t neutered and will come with ongoing behaviour support to help him transition smoothly. This won’t be a quick handover—his wellbeing is our top priority, and we’ll support a slow, careful rehoming process.
