With a very heavy heart we are looking to rehome our beautiful Dachshund. This is due to an unfortunate change in family circumstances and it is no longer possible to keep him. Winnie is an amazing dog with a great personality. Winnie does better in one environment with somebody who works from home or does part time hours, she can be left on her own for up to 4-5 hours in her crate. Winnie Currently lives with one child who is 6 years of age so I would say if she is to be homed with children they need to be 6+. Winnie is the only dog in our household so I’m unable to say how she would mange with another dog. However when out on walks Winnie is very friendly! Winnie is full house trained and crate trained. Winnie would prefer to be left in her cage overnight and if you’re going out for the day or for work. Winnie loves to sleep in a covered crate at night. She has leant commands: sit, paw, wait, stay & no. We ask that the person has experience of owning dogs and especially the Dachshund breed. We would like her next home to have a secure garden area and that she definitely wouldn’t be left all day whilst homeowners go out to work. We are looking for her forever home and what we can promise is 100% love and affection back from her. She will come with collar, lead, crate, bed, toys, food etc. She is microchipped, and fully up to date with her vaccinations and up to date with her flea and worming treatments. She is a wonderful dog with an amazing temperament who is so loving. We are truly devastated she has to be rehomed but are keen to finding her forever home in which she deserves.
