Winston is a chipped and snipped gorgeous, loving, cuddly little sock thief who needs to be an only dog home. Unfortunately he and my 4yo male cocker do not get along and we after seeing multiple behaviourists and trainers, castration etc, we have had to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome him.
He has so much love to give and is very well behaved, crate trained, walks beautifully on lead, has impulse control with doorways, gets on well with other dogs on walks and at the doggy play park, he simply cannot live with another male.
He has been around children since birth (the breeder had children and I've got children 8+ years old) and isn't fazed by noisy environments, however, I wouldn't feel comfortable rehoming him to a family with young children simply because they can be unpredictable with their movements etc, so a home with children 12+yrs would be OK.
Before letting Winston go, I will want to make sure he is going to a suitable home with someone who will give him the love and care he deserves.
He loves being in enclosed spaces such as under a bed, chair or table, he will also take himself off to the crate without the need to be velcro'd to you. That being said, he is very happy to be centre of attention and be all up in your personal space for snuggles!
Any questions, please don't hesitate in messaging me, this rehoming is genuinely breaking our hearts but neither dog is happy and the constant stress for them with the other around is not good for either of them. They have had multiple fights which while neither has broken skin, it is frightening for my children and it's only getting worse. They live separately at the moment which isn't fair on either of them.
