Poppy is the perfect family dog. She is 4.5 years old and the most affectionate and kind dog. You really won't be able to say no once you meet her. She loves children, and old alike. She fits in with each lifestyle well. She is such a fun loving ball of love, affection, gentleness and playfulness.
She is very affectionate and loves playing. She is easy going and not aggressive at all, especially good with children.
Likewise she will happily sit on your lap for hours on end and give lots of kisses and cuddles, so could be great for someone looking for a nice companion.
She does get needy, and will cry if left alone too long, especially once bonded to her family. For this reason she does need someone who can be mostly at home with her, or doesn't leave her alone for too long. She does get nervous and will bark at other dogs if she is on lead and they are not, but is never aggressive and will only seek assurance from her owner.
Our young child has grown up with her, and they've been great for each other, she has also lived with our other dog for a most of her life, so gets on well with other dogs. It is with the heaviest heart that we need to part with her as our other dog is unwell and this has become unfair on both dogs.
