this is coco, she’s a two year old mini daschund,she’s 6kg and is in perfect health, she’s just been vet checked. she’ll be three in September
I got her from a lovely family at the start of june but she’s taking too much of my time and attention away from my frenchie and they don’t seem to get on.
I realised after I got her that im very much a one dog person and however lovely coco is I just can’t give her the love and attention she deserves being the most loving little thing, she will curl up beside you, sleep in bed next to you with her head on you. she’s so beautiful with a lovely personality, it’s just not fair to her or my frenchie to keep her.
this girl is a typical daschund and very barky, specifically at people, once she gets to know you she’s fine and gets on well with other dogs. she was raised with two kids but is a little bit unhappy with my teenage brother who is quite loud.
I’ve been working with her on barking at people but where I live is very busy and I don’t think it’s the best place for her to learn. she loves her food and her treats and I’ve been feeding her lily’s kitchen wet and dry food (puppy biscuits because she’s a tiny gal) with dental powder and salmon oil supplement for teeth and coat health.
she hasn’t been spayed but I’m looking for a pet home only, maybe an older couple or someone with their own garden because I currently take her for walks a few times a day to go to the toilet and she just barks at everyone she sees which must be stressful for her as an anxious girl.
she’s a gorgeous girl she just needs more love than I can give her. I think she needs a home where she’s the only dog so she can be your centre of attention, she has shown some resource guarding behaviours over both me, toys and food. I feel awful having to rehome her when she’s only just settled but it’s really not working out for any of us.
