2 year old female illigers macaw called Kiwi. She is 1 of our 3 parrots. She needs lots more attention than our other 2 parrots, and she wants to be out all the time. But she doesn't get on with our other two parrots, so it's hard to let her out, on her own. Which isn't fair on her. She needs 1:1 attention. She loves coming out and will sit on your head, shoulders etc and will walk all over you. She will fly and always land on you. She will take treats from you. She was hand reared, but wasn't handled much after moving on from the breeder before we brought her. By the time we got her, around 20 weeks old, she hadn't been handled for a while. She is such a lovely bird and with one to one attention, she will get used to you and be great. She just needs the attention, which we can't give her all the time. This is a very sad sale, but we are doing what is the best for her. She needs to be able to be out of the cage. She loves people. Just not other birds. As I said, she is fine when out on her own.
