Description

Jenny ❤️ crossbreed, medium size currently in foster in the Birmingham area. Meet Jenny from Cyprus who is approximately 3 years old, 18Kgs, medium size, a gentle soul with a heart full of love. A loving crossbreed looking for a home in the UK. Jenny has been fortunate and is now in a loving UK Foster home. Shelter life in the end destroys these poor souls spirits and they will start to shut down and withdraw if left in the shelter too long. Jenny is the sweetest of souls considering the sad life shes had .Her story is one of resilience and hope .jenny is now so ready to bring joy and companionship to the lucky family that adopts her. She has a warm, expressive face and a soft coat that reflects her gentle personality. She has an affectionate nature and is known for her loving disposition towards people, children (10 yrs +) and other animals alike. Despite the challenges she may have faced in the past, Jenny remains trusting and optimistic, eager to start a new chapter with the family that will give her the care and love she deserves. Jenny is calm, friendly, and adaptable. She enjoys spending time with people and will love going on leisurely walks in the park, a playful moment in the garden, or simply relaxing indoors. Her sociable nature makes her a good fit for households with children or other pets. Since arriving in the UK she loves cuddling up to either her foster mum or their daughter. Bed time, she has taken to sleeping on the bed and the look of bliss on her face. The comfort that she hasn't had for a long time, if ever. She has not been cat tested so we can not guarantee whether she will show interest or not. She is intelligent and eager to please, which makes her responsive to training and quick to learn new routines. As with all shelter dogs she will need some training however shes good on the leash abd houstrained since her foster placement. Jenny has low / medium energy levels who would suit most homes She is a little shy at first so living quite local will help to meet Jenny a few times to help her familiarise her with her new family Her foster mummy says the best things about her “Oh, Jenny is the sweetest girl! Very shy at first but once you get to know her oh my goodness she is the best. From the first night she jumped on my bed and has slept with me almost every night. She was so timid of dogs at first especially males. Not surprising with what she went through. She has come so far. She is so much more confident in the short amount of time I've had her. She is very interested in meeting every dog she sees. She gets so excited when it's a dog she has met before. She goes back to puppy-like behaviour. Which is so lovely to see. In the house shewill come and paw at me for love. But she will just go to her bed and sleep after. She loves a good stick to chew. She's learning how to play but doesn't have much interest in toy’s but she loves her teddies to cuddle with. She loves a good walk. About an hour is her normal walk time but she will go longer if you let her. She loves to explore on a long lead and roll in the grass. She has never messed in the house or chewed anything up at home (other than her sticks). She is happy to be left alone for a few hours. She is so scared of dog crates. But loves a comfy dog bed. Honestly, she is like the prefect dog. So chilled in the house. She is a very loving special girl and needs a special person who has time and patience to work with her nervousness. She is ok with older children but very nervous with younger children, my daughter is 11 and she loves her. But on the whole she is absolutely the best”. If you feel that Jenny could be the perfect addition to your family and that you can give her the chance to bring joy into your life and to help her find the security she deserves, please Adoption fee applies , which reflects some of Jenny travel cost .These have been subsidised Homecheck applies
