Description

Unfortunately we have to rehome our 4 year old dachshund named Rolo. He needs to go to a home with adults only, no pets, NO CHILDREN, due to his temperament. He has slight separation anxiety, and cries when not in a comfortable location for him. Overall he is a good well behaved dog, he is house trained, can sit, stay, paw, lay down, will leave his food until you tell him he can have it, and is not too bad on a lead. He just needs someone who can give him the full attention he needs. He is okay with staying in kennels. He is not sure on new people or new dogs. He is good with groomers, fine at the vets. We have be going through behaviours training for the past 2 years now, and although he has improved a lot we are not sure we will ever be comfortable having him near children as he is unpredictable. He would not be able to go to someone within the first meeting so would need to be willing to meet a few times before taking him home if the fit is good. Can take everything we have for him; beds, crate, food, bowls, leads, etc.
