This is Ernie – a 4-year-old, sweet-natured, affectionate house rabbit who’s been a beloved part of our family since he was a baby.
Ernie is:
• Litter trained
• Cuddly and calm (though slightly grumpy on a bad day – in a funny, charming way!)
• Loves attention, zoomies, binkies, naps, and a good snack
• Never bitten – very gentle and used to being handled confidently
Sadly, due to a change in our family circumstances, we can no longer give Ernie the time, space, and quiet environment he deserves. He’s starting to show signs of stress around our toddler, so we’re looking for a loving, rabbit-savvy home with older children, 5+ (not toddlers) and preferably indoor space where he can feel calm and comfortable.
Because Ernie isn’t neutered, he needs to live as a single rabbit, which means he thrives on human interaction. He’s always lived indoors, so he isn’t up to date on vaccinations — but he could transition to an outdoor space if it’s spacious, secure, warm, and you’re happy to arrange vaccinations.
He’d be perfect for someone looking for a calm, affectionate companion and has time for cuddles and play.
