Description
Due to a change in circumstances, we are sadly looking to find a wonderful new home for our daughter’s much-loved dachshund puppy.
She is 6 months old, healthy, KC registered, and comes from fully health-tested parents with an exceptionally low inbreeding coefficient of just 0.1%. She is crate trained, fully toilet trained and has a great foundation with her training. She knows basic commands, is used to being off lead and is sociable with other dogs.
This decision has not been made lightly, but our daughter has been offered an amazing opportunity to study away from home rather than attend local college, something we feel is too good to miss, and unfortunately it means she can no longer give the puppy the time and stability she deserves.
She is a lovely young dog with plenty of personality and affection, and we are looking for a genuine, caring home where she will be loved as part of the family.

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
