It truly breaks my heart to write this, but we are looking for a new home for our beautiful dachshund, Luna.
Luna is a loving, affectionate little dog who enjoys human attention, cuddles, and being part of everyday life. She bonds closely with her person and has so much love to give.
Unfortunately, due to ongoing issues in our multi-dog household, Luna is no longer comfortable living with other dogs and has recently started conflicts. For her wellbeing and the safety of our other dogs, we have made the very difficult decision to find her a more suitable home.

• Calm, stable environment
• Someone patient and understanding
• Preferably no small children

Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs
Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please
Fun-loving and playful by nature
Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained
Cons
Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
