Cairo is a 9 year old 17hh gelding by Kayf Tara out of Somethingaboutmolly. His racing name is Somethingaboutcian and he was lightly raced before retiring. He then started being professionally reschooled at a showjumping yard in Ireland when I purchased him in Jan 2024. He has since progressed in his reschooling and has been round a 90cm course of showjumps, hunted, and done local fun rides. He works in a lovely outline when asked so could be the ultimate allrounder. I’ve left him out of work for a couple of weeks, and taken him out hacking by himself and he’s never put a foot wrong and always proved to be sensible even when in a new environment. Out hunting, he’s mannerly and well behaved and happy to stay at the back and wait, or be near the front but has never been strong or silly. We hunted with the VWH in Gloucestershire and we’ve jumped rails, fences and small hedges and he’s never refused. He retired sound and is clean limbed/wind, no vices, loads/clips/stands for farrier.
