We adopted this beautiful BSH lilac girl in April 2024 and was told she was about 5 years old, she was a breeding cat and kept in a solo cattery in the back garden, due to this she is not the cuddly type of cat and doesn’t like the usual litter tray set up or fluffy bed and cat scratching posts she is more of a natural girly. Due to her past she has not adapted to being a family cat, she loves head strokes and bum pats and will come to you when she wants affection but I feel she would definitely settle and relax more in a home with garden with sheds, barn or conservatory where she can chill in peace, or lay in the sun and have outdoor access for toileting. We unfortunately are in a flat where she cannot go outside and it’s taking its toll on her. We had a small dog and other cats when we got her so she doesn’t mind living along side other animals but she keeps her distance and won’t be best friends with them.
