Amazon Milk Froglets for sale which left water on the 5th of September, they are eating fantastically on 1st (3mm) brown crickets.
These are a hardy, beautiful and personable species of tree frog. So personable that the parents of this offspring feed directly from my hand.
This is a perfect species for someone new to the hobby as well as those who are within the hobby but maybe looking for something different to what they currently keep.
As they mature they develop bright golden eyes, which is where there other name ‘mission gold eye tree frog’ comes from.
Milk frogs are an arboreal species (meaning they live within trees). Therefore, their enclosure should facilitate the needs of climbing and jumping. I would recommend a terrarium size of 45x45x60cm for a small group between 1 - 3.
In the wild these frogs have the access to sunlight which allows their bones to develop structurally and grow, however in captivity that does not occur and therefore it is important that they are exposed to UVB lighting.
Before letting these beautiful animals go to their new homes, I will ask for proof of setup.
