Description
'Sandy' my mini lop is looking for a new home. She's had one litter and has been a fantastic mum ☺️. She's now looking for a loving, permanent pet home.
She's friendly and very inquisitive. She's lived with other rabbits (although she's been the dominant female in my group) and also guinea pigs, which she's very soft with.
She's always lived free roaming a large section of my heated cabin. She's has only ever been locked in a hutch on one occasion which was when she was attacked by one of my other rabbits (had a chunky took out of the bottom of her ear, which is shown on the photos. This is now fully healed and doesn't cause her any problems). She was kept separate for a few days and hated the hutch. She pulled fur from her feet as she was so stressed being locked in 😥. So she is definitely not suitable for living in a hutch or cage.
She would make a good house rabbit. She is litter trained, however she can be a bit of a digger and a chewer 🙈, so she would need fruit wood and lots of stimulus if being kept as a house bunny. She'll be fine to be put away in a pen/cage for short periods - eg overnight or for a few hours in the day if she's then free roaming in a house/room for the rest of the time.
She'd also be ideal for living outside in a large enclosure/fenced off area. However, as she has only ever lived inside she doesn't have a winter coat, so she would need access to a heated shed or to be brought inside when the weather is cold.
She is being fed on a pellet diet with lots of hay and veggies a few times a week.
Other then a bite in her ear, she's got no other health problems and would make a fantastic pet for someone how Dan offer her the right environment 🤗
You're more than welcome to come and view to make sure she's the right bunny for you.
There's no rehoming fee for Sandy. I just want to ensure she's going to a perfect, forever home.
