Description
Due to certain circumstances, we are having to rehome our cocker spaniel, she’s 3 and half years old, called Tilly! We sadly have to find her a new home as we are so busy with work we don’t have the time to spend with her or train her. Due to her time and effort we would want NO MONEY for her, on the day of collection she will be free!!
Tilly is such a lovely girl, she loves to have belly rubs we call them Tilly tickles and she loves cuddles, if you don’t give her her belly rubs she barks and lays down infront of you, she knows how to sit if you tell her, she will come with a bed and a bunch of toys, she loves being chased around the garden, she loves when you play with her with a brush, but most things can frighten her like moving a chair. She doesn’t like water either! She is well trained for going outside to do her business so there’s never any accidents incidents unless she doesn’t go out at night then she can have an accident in the night, but other then that she’s well behaved, she doesn’t go through bin bags unless she smells food. Tilly will make you aware someone is at the door as she barks at strangers unless she knows them well enough. If she doesn’t play with toys give her kitchen roll she loves it and she also brings rocks into your home.
However, Tilly has a few difficulties, she doesn’t like to be put on a lead, if you try to put her on a lead she will bite, even if you try to put a harness on her she will not like it, we presume she was abused by her previous owner who we brought her off who didn’t tell us about the biting situation, so she needs a lot of dedication and time from someone who can train her. Another issue is dropping stuff on the floor, Tilly will immediately run over to it and if you try to pick it up she will also try to bite, now saying that it’s not so much aggression but more curiosity and unpredictable, she will also get snappy if you try to take stuff away from her as she has phantom pregnancy’s as she’s not been neutered. Lastly she goes for feet but we think it’s more the case of socks, and lastly she knows how to push a door open! Tilly also pulls up carpets and digs into sofas like she’s trying to burry herself to be comfy! We also recommend for the best interest DONT take her collar off as you wouldn’t be able to get it on again as she doesn’t like leads she doesn’t like things around her neck.
She doesn’t like cats, so a home with no cats or dogs will be great, preferably NO children either!
Also you have to drive! As she doesn’t go on lead car is a necessity but she loves car rides! We also don’t know how she is with recall, so she might need trying with that.
If you think you could be the one to give sweet Tilly a new forever home, drop a comment and I’ll get back to you!
