It’s come to the sad reality, that me and my partner have to rehome our girl, unfortunately we just don’t have the time to give her anymore and I’ve just had my third baby we’ve had her since she was a puppy and she’s now 3 and a half years old we got her as a playmate for our first dog which is a Labrador and the problem we’ve had for the 3 and a half years of owing her is the dominance (husky trait) but she bully’s our other dog and unfortunately this leads to us not been able to go near our Labrador without saskii which is her name starting to howl and bark and become boisterous which isn’t fair we’ve had her at training which she does respond to outdoors but inside she just gets to jealous not in a malicious way by any means just want to point out but it’s to hard to let her be that way when I have 3 young kids that walk around, we’ve tried to let her mature and snap out of it as we thought it may have been a phase but she’s 100% more suited to either a family with older kids of ages 8 and upwards a couple or a single person with no other dogs as she wants to be the alpha dog! Her good side is when she’s one on one with yous she’s such a loving big furball who really shows she loves you she’ll cuddle you and bully you for cuddles 🤣 lie at your feet and of course pester you for all the belly rubs imaginable aw and she always has to get the last word in when speaking to you (she’s one of the vocal ones🤣) she also thinks she’s a cat and not a dog the way she sleeps sometimes and jumps around definitely not dog like 🤣 it’s a really really sad situation for us as a family as the decision hasn’t came lightly but it’s not fair on us as a family at the same time or her getting so wound up every time she sees our other dog even getting just a pat on the head she will not be going to just anyone and she’s definitely not suited to someone who’s in a tiny flat ect as she is a large breed of dog I would prefer her to go to someone who has either experience with the breed or has owned one in the past as they aren’t an easy breed of dog to own and I can’t express that enough!! I will be putting a few on her and this is simply for the fact that I want to make sure whoever takes her is serious about it.
