Description

It’s with a heavy heart that we are seeking a new, loving home for our wonderful dog, Alfie. He’s a 5-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is also fully toilet and crate trained, making him easy to care for. Alfie is a playful, affectionate dog who loves cuddles and walks. He’s a loyal companion to adults and has a sweet, loving nature. However, due to some AGGRESSION he’s shown towards children and other animals, we feel it’s in his best interest, as well as the safety of our family, to find him a new home. What sort of home are we looking for? Firstly, we are looking for a child-free home (or one with teenagers) where he can feel safe and loved. NO young families or people looking to start a family. He would be best suited to a home with an older person or couple, as he thrives in a calm, quiet environment. He has NEVER shown aggression towards adults. Secondly, Alfie NEEDS to be the only pet in the household due to unpredictable aggression towards other animals. Finally, he’s best suited to a home where he isn’t left alone for long periods on a daily basis. While he’s fine being left for a few hours at a time (up to 6 hours), my current work-from-home job means he’s rarely left alone for more than once or twice a week. Alfie does become anxious if left alone too often, so he would do best in a home where someone is around more frequently. While these requirements might sound like a lot to ask, Alfie truly is the most loving, loyal little guy - he just wants a calm home, plenty of cuddles, and a peaceful life. If you think you could offer Alfie the perfect home, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Serious inquiries only, please. We wont let him go to just anyone - we want to ensure Alfie goes to the best possible home.
