14/12 Today been for chip and 1st vaccine so available to leave from Monday 15 December 2025.
Just 1 black boy, 1 black girl and 2 fox red girls available.
This is the second mating between Milly and Ted following a successful litter of black and fox red puppies last year.
Milly is just one of our 6 family pets and is a typical cheeky lab. We are a busy family household with children aged 12 and 13. Puppies are already well handled and socialised. Since 3 weeks of age they have been spending daytimes in the living room and at 5 weeks they moved in permanently now they are fully weaned.
Our youngest dog, a 12 month old cocker spaniel, interacts with them as does our old 12 year old dalmation. They are getting used to a crate although we only close the door when their pen is having a good clean out. Most tend to prefer sleeping on the dog beds or vet bedding. From around 2 weeks puppies were trained to use puppy pads but once they became a play thing we moved on to using artificial grass trays aswell as encouraging going outside. They are fully toilet trained on the grass.
Labs are very loving, loyal, playful companions with excellent temperaments and their weakness for food is the key to their ability to learn. If left to their own devices they will create their own mischief and will eat anything! With the right effort they make excellent family pets.
Both Milly and Ted have good hips scores, 9 and 7 respectively, and elbow scores of zero as you would expect. Both are unaffected - Clear on BVA Eye Scheme. Both have had extensive health tests with Ted 100% clear and Milly just being a carrier for EIC which means no puppies will be Affected by any of these conditions. Millie’s coefficient of inbreeding is extremely low at just 0.2% and the puppies COI is 3.9% which is well below the breed average of 6.5%. Both parents can be viewed on the Kennel Club website under Summer Garden and Woodsreds Cedar.
Pups are fully weaned onto Purina Pro Plan Mother and Puppy. They have just finished their 3rd and final course of worming (Panacur) and so are fully wormed, chipped and had 1st vaccination. Vaccine is canigen dhppi and lepto4 - 2nd jab due 11 January (usually vets will allow +/- 1 day).
Will leave with KC registration details, microchip transferred to new owners, pedigree, vaccine certificate, food to cover at least a week, puppy pack, WhatsApp group specific to litter, and ongoing support and advice.
We have for the past 12 months been going through the council’s licensed breeder process and are just awaiting our certificate.
