Bear is a 7yo GSD x Rottie cross who has experienced a lot of turmoil in his life, with three homes that we know of. Bear deserves his next home to be his last and forever home; he will make the right person a loving & loyal companion.
Bear is a bright boy, who is keen to learn and please. He is reported to be loving and happy in the family environment, loves a long walk and play, and has lived successfully with children. However Bear shows guarding behaviour typical of his breed, and will bark and react toward strangers coming into the home, and sometimes on walks. Bear has previously walked happily with dog friends, but can get over-excited and pull toward other dogs (and he is a big lad!).
Bear is looking for an experienced adult-only home with someone who is prepared to put time and patience into training with him. Applicants will be considered carefully by our dog re-homing team, and will need to meet Bear on two or three occasions prior to any adoption.
