People say the eyes are the window to the soul, and in Azara’s case, that couldn’t be more true. Her gaze tells a story of hope, resilience, and endless love waiting to be shared.💕

💔 Rescue Story
Azara’s story began in love — she was adopted from rescue as a puppy into a happy family. But tragedy struck when her beloved owner went to defence his country and was killed there. And the family, overwhelmed by grief and preparing to move away, could no longer keep her. She was returned to rescue through no fault of her own, confused and heartbroken, still searching for the warm home she once knew.

Azara is a bright spark of life — playful, loving, and endlessly affectionate. She’s what her carer calls a “hug-dog”: always ready for a cuddle and eager to share her warmth. She adores walks, running, and exploring, greeting every day with tail wags and enthusiasm. Her one blue and one amber eye seem to reflect her beautiful balance — spirited yet gentle, playful yet tender.
She’s friendly with other dogs and would love to have a playful companion. Azara walks beautifully on the lead and enjoys adventures, but is equally content snuggling beside you when the day is done. Her trust in people is touching — she loves everyone she meets and always asks politely for strokes and affection.

Azara would blossom in an active home — one that enjoys the outdoors and has time for daily walks and fun. She’s perfect for a family with older children (8+) or for a couple or individual who loves the companionship of an affectionate and intelligent dog. Another friendly, playful dog would make her even happier, but she’d also thrive as the centre of her human’s world.
