πŸ’™πŸΆ CASPER πŸΆπŸ’™ 🏠 AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT 🏠 πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Bristol, BS32 🐾 Available for meet and greet 🌟 Full RBU and post-adoption support 🐢 CASPER is a very joyful cheerful friendly small boy of around 12 months old. Neutered. Housetrained, lead trained. Small size : just around 38-39 cm/9 kilos. Great with dogs if all sizes. Ignores cats. 🐢 CASPER can brighten up your home with his love and positivity, always happy and ready to please. He is shy at start but desperate to build trust. He is so so full of love to give. Would love to have a doggy friend πŸΎπŸΎπŸ’–πŸ  🐢 CASPER is currently at Foster with other dogs and cat. He needed a bit time to settle in new home, as can be very shy and unsure, but doesn't take too long to settle. That's what Foster family say about him: " Casper is a lively, energetic, happy character but also nervous and scared of certain things/situations. He can’t cope with crowds of people, or loud noisy people/loud noises and young children will be a definite no in a new home; any sudden movements or things being thrown petrify him.( he has no aggression, just freeze or hides). He needs a quiet, calm household with a resident dog where he can slowly gain his confidence. He has been living with two calm quiet dogs and a large 7kg cat (doesn’t chase or bother the cat) whom he gets on well with and could go to a household with a calm cat with the right introductions. He is housetrained and walks well on a collar and harness; been doing heel training and he has learnt to sit. Travels well in the car in a fabric crate and sleeps overnight in a crate, Can be left for 4 hours but no more, as long as he has the company of another dog and toys. Will need at least two hours exercise a day due to young age and energy levels. Loves exploring woods, open land and fields rather than pavement walking; so a more rural home may suit better. He is nervous of men. Potential adopter will need lots of patience and the time to give; in the right hands, given his personality, need to please and intelligence, he could be a brilliant agility dog." 🐢 CASPER is gentle and loving dog, there's nothing he loves more than a good cuddle and a snuggle up on the sofa. However he also enjoys a good long walk, he's so inquisitive about new sights and smells and is great on the lead. He's very friendly when we encounter other dogs and really enjoys their company, with this in mind I think he would like a family with another dog to play with. He warms quickly with visitors to the house after gentle introductions and seems to love our postman despite the dog/postman stereotype! He's a little bit nervous around loud or startling sounds but with a little reassurance he is growing in confidence everyday. And is really enjoying the mental stimulation of some basic training we are doing...his favourite treat is definitely cheese so far! I feel he would be suited to a home where someone is around for most of the day, or at least until he settles in and grows in confidence. He has so much love to give out he just wants someone or another dog to share it with! He would make a great loving family pet but maybe with older children who can understand the impact loud noises can have. 🐢 CASPER has sad but common story. Unfortunately too common: little pup in a field far from any houses, where people live. Born as unwanted, thrown out as rubbish to survive far from humans. Not many of such stories end good. πŸ˜πŸ’” But CASPER was lucky to be noticed by cars driving pass. He was rescued and many months looking for his family, those who will not betray and will love a dog not for breed (CASPER is a cross of who knows what), but for being alive being. Small, but with a big heart full of love to give. 🐢 CASPER is a lovely boy: very friendly, affectionate and outgoing. He will bond fast with their owner and will love to spend time with family. He gets along well with adults and children, but can be unsure of men and very young loud kids. 🐢 CASPER is still very young active boy and loves his walks. CASPER is ideal companion for active family for joint walks and adventures. 🐢 CASPER is friendly and playful with the other dogs. Ignores cats. 🐢 CASPER has no known health issues; neutered, full vaccination pack, microchipped. Flead and wormed and C.Brucella tested.
