Looking for a loving new home for my 5-year-old medium-sized Lurcher. He’s a very playful, energetic and affectionate dog who could happily play fetch all day. He loves being outdoors and going on walks, but due to his high prey drive he must always stay on the lead.
Age: 5 years
Size: Medium/Large (approx 27kg)
Breed: Lurcher (Saluki/Greyhound mix)
Temperament: Friendly, affectionate, full of energy. He is good with people, and dogs he has been gradually introduced to. He can be reactive to dogs he hasn't met before and will pull on the lead to get to them
Not suited for: Homes with cats or small animals
Training: House-trained, knows sit, spin, paw, lie down, and will patiently wait for his food until told it’s okay. He is used to being left home alone while I am at work (6-8hours at most) but cannot be left for longer than this
Health: Neutered, fully vaccinated (puppy course + yearly boosters), no health issues
He’s a wonderful dog with a big personality, but due to my pregnancy he has become too much for me to safely manage. I’m looking for someone with the time, energy, and outdoor space to give him the attention and exercise he loves.
