Description

Beautiful KC reg German Shepherd Puppies We are so proud to have 8 beautiful medium to long haired German Shepherd puppies available from our well trained family dogs, Leila and Bosley, both Kennel Club registered and health tested. These are beautiful puppies, bred for a life of adventure, family and companionship. We pride ourselves on raising well adjusted, well rounded puppies ready for everything life has to offer! Below you will find details on exactly the type of training we put in, in order to give your puppy the best possible start in life! Viewings on evenings or weekends from Monday 23rd June onwards. A £300 non-refundable deposit is required to secure the puppy of your choice. Puppies will be microchipped and vaccinated and then ready to leave from 8 weeks of age, from Thursday 24th July onwards. We recognise that this is the start of the children’s school holidays and so we are more than happy to hold on to a puppy for you if you have holiday booked at the start of this period (please note that the deposit should be paid and any time period over 8 weeks should be agreed ahead of time) please message to discuss. Early Training 0-16 days All puppies received ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) training from 3 – 16 days old. This is a method developed by the US Military by the Breeding Better Dogs program to improve the performance of future military working dogs. ENS is believed to impact the neurological system by kicking it into action earlier than would be normally expected. Continued Training 2-5 weeks Once the puppies open their eyes and start to become more mobile, we then continue training with the puppies to include: Once they are 4 weeks old we introduce a routine of nap time, toilet time, playtime, food, toilet again, playtime and then back to nap time cycle to help with toilet training. Advanced Training 6-8 weeks At this stage we introduce daytime naps with crate time. Until this point the crate is just another object in the environment that the puppies can move freely in and out of if they choose to. We also now begin some desensitisation training. We play thunderstorm and loud noises including fireworks around the puppies while they are relaxed. We also have children with scooters and bicycles move around the puppies slowly while they investigate. We also start to introduce the car. We start slowly with a stationary car with the engine turned off and gradually add the sound of the engine and then movement and short journeys. All of the puppies are exposed to all ages of humans from young to senior. We handle and play with the puppies throughout the day. Grooming As a professional dog groomer, all of our puppies receive regular bathing, brushing and nail trimming and so are very familiar with this type of handling by the time they get to you. Puppy Packs We are really excited for our puppy packs this year! Each puppy will leave us with a 2.5kg bag of Skinners kibble, 2x packs of Skinners puppy wet food, a £5 voucher for you to purchase more food from Skinners as well as a measuring cup and their puppy guide! In addition we have also purchased the Dorwest Herbs puppy packs which includes samples of Tree Barks powder, Keepers mix sensitive and Easy Greens, all of which the puppies have been receiving throughout the weaning process and all will help them transition over to their new environments. It also comes with a spoon, tennis ball and a bottle of sooth and calm shampoo! Also included in the packs are all of the Kennel Club registration paperwork which also comes with 5 weeks free insurance, microchip documentation, our puppy contracts and a drawstring bag to take everything home in. What we ask of new owners Previous experience with the breed is preferred but not essential as long as you have good knowledge of the breed and a plan on how you will continue their training journey. We believe they are super easy dogs to train but you have to put the time in to train them! We still train daily with our 4 year old Shepherd and will do until she cannot. They are a breed that loves to be in the outdoors and explore and work for their ball! They are a fantastic dog with so much love to give their families but they need daily exercise and mental enrichment to fulfil their potential. They are definitely a rewarding breed to own when given the right guidance. Ongoing support We offer lifetime support to all of our puppies and are always just a message away if you need help or advice. Thank you for looking at our litter, if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
