🐰 Meet George – A Gentle 3½-Year-Old Mini Lop Looking for a Calm, Loving Home 🏡
I’m looking to rehome George, my lovely 3½-year-old mini lop rabbit, to someone who can give him the time, space, and calm environment he deserves. This is not a decision made lightly — he’s a special little character and will only go to the right home.
🩶 About George:
• Neutered at 1 year old — recovered brilliantly
• Litter trained, although like most rabbits, he still leaves poops here and there
• Best as a solo rabbit — we previously tried bonding him with a female rabbit and it went well for 6 months, but he suddenly turned aggressive and started chasing and attacking her.
• Good with calm dogs, but not suited to excitable pets or young children
🥕 Diet:
George eats meadow hay mixed with Timothy hay, Science Selective rabbit pellets, and enjoys small amounts of greens (especially broccoli). He’s also banana-obsessed 🍌 — but too many greens can upset his stomach, so veggie feeds are best spaced out every few days.
🏡 Ideal Home:
George hasn’t been free-roamed in around a year, so he may be a little shy at first. But with space to explore, quiet companionship, and a patient owner, he will come out of his shell. He needs:
• A peaceful, spacious setup
• Time to himself and occasional gentle interaction
• A rabbit-experienced or understanding new owner
🎁 He’ll Come With:
• A two-storey cage home
• His favourite hay
• Around 2kg of his Science Selective pellets
• A supply of his litter pellets
📋 Please Note:
I’m only looking for a genuine, committed home — this is all about what’s best for George. You can expect a few questions from me about your environment and plans for him.
If you think you can give George the calm, loving life he deserves, please reach out.
