Fudge 9mth old Dachshund

Description

Fudge is a beautiful little boy. He loves walks and exploring. He has been around my 2 young children since he was a little puppy, so is very friendly. He does get nervous of other dogs, but he tends to bow his head and not be aggressive. Due to a break up and me being disabled, I can not give fudge the life he so deserves. It breaks my heart to part with him, but I have to put his needs first. I will only let him go to a loving home that can give him the dedicated time and love. Fudge would preferably require a garden so he can explore. His vaccinations are all up to date. He has regular health checks. He is microchipped.

Pros

Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs
Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please
Fun-loving and playful by nature
Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained

Cons

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
