Description
I am devastated to write this but we are looking to rehome our nearly 1 year old long haired Dachshund to a forever home, our work commitments have changed and he'll be alone most of the day which isn't fair on him and we are away sometimes overnight, it isn't possible to keep a dog right now, especially in a routine. Kennels is isn’t an option I’d want him to go to regularly.
He's such a lovely boy, so sweet and loving, he'll quite happily sit and be cuddled and kissed all day, he loves his ball which will go with him along with all his toys and accessories and some food, he's on James Wellbeloved, we changed his food from a puppy and he was quite happy with that, no stomach issues, he has no health issues and is microchipped and has up to date vaccinations, including kennel cough, he'll come with all his vet papers.
He's been around children since birth and loves them, he's house trained and has been since a young age, he's crate trained and sleeps in there through the night, sometimes go in to have him alone time, he loves other dogs and loves to play fight with them, a walk can take a while if we run into other dogs or people, he doesn’t wake up early or bark at bed time, he has never caused any injuries with anyone, he's a very relaxed and chilled out dog, cats, birds and insects don't phase him at all. He knows basic commands and loves to be trained with cheese and treats, hes excellent on walks and is good off lead (although I'd train him again as he might run off if it's unknown to him at 1st).
He is worn and flea treated, cash on pick up (from Washington, Tyne and Wear)
