Adorable Black and Tan male dachshund 10 months old .
He goes by the name milo .
Unfortunately having to rehome this little guy through absolutely no fault of his own it’s for his own safely and future happiness he deserves a loving home after a rocky start .
Back story- I rehomed him from a loving home 2 days ago , his previous home and owner was lovely and had no issues with milo . Unfortunately her son has additional needs and was a bit rough with milo and she felt nervous for leaving her son and milo together so was stressful keeping on top of managing the situation so wanted to find him a loving home .
my mum wanted another dachshund for her male dachshund to play with ! So I decided to surprise my mum with this cutie 2 days ago .
However it has ended in me having to sadly rehome him due to my mums dog being extremely reactive towards him this has caused extreme stress on my mum and milo , again having to manage a situation with a reactive dog and a excited pup who just wants to play . This is not ideal for either dogs and I wouldn’t want milo to be hurt or stressed or my mums dog to become too overwhelmed! This reaction was not the expected outcome as my mums dog is great with my 2 dogs and with her neighbours dogs! he was very much wanted and loved by us all from the beginning It’s just unfortunate.
Milo has a great temperament is great with other dogs (the dogs in the video are my dogs )
Sleep trained he sleeps either in a bed in the kitchen or in his crate from 9.30pm -7.30am this is what his previous owners have stated and this is exactly how he has slept since being homed with us .
Milo is Toilet trained and loves a walk and spending time in our garden .
He needs neutering but this will be able to be done in 2 months time when he turns 1
Playful he really wants some doggy friends to play with .
Milo is microchipped and I have all his up to date vet information to be given to his new owner.
He is such a happy , funny , loving dog who needs to find his perfect person(s) .
I’m sad to have to rehome him again and feel guilty to have to do this after such a short time but I can’t unfortunately keep him as I have 2 dogs already and it is just not feasible .
I know he will make a great addition to another household.

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
