Description

8 Week Old Miniature Smooth-Haired Dachshund Girl – Looking for a Loving Home Our beautiful 8-week-old Miniature Dachshund girl is looking for a loving forever home. She is very active, playful and full of character. She is already puppy-pad trained and used to staying in a puppy playpen. She is microchipped and her first vaccination is scheduled for next week. Unfortunately, our older dog has struggled to accept the new puppy into the family, so we have made the difficult decision to find her a new loving home where she can receive all the attention and care she deserves. We want to find the very best home for this little girl.

Pros

Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs

Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please

Fun-loving and playful by nature

Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained

Cons

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own

Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints

They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise

The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
