Description
Thank you for picking my advert !
Please read on to find the details of this outstanding litter of 4 girls and 4 boys which must surely have one of the most outstanding pedigrees of any whippet litter with no less than 35 Champion dogs in their bloodline including 4 Crufts best of breed winners, and two World Winners.
The breeding combines bloodlines from Show Champions of Australia, The UK, Ireland, France, Sweden, Norway, South Africa, and Holland with members of the top kennels of Collooney, Suna Regens Opals, Adagio, Sobers, Crème Anglais, Danluke, and Jesrae being represented in the bloodlines to name a few.
Grandad on the father’s side is the UK Top Champion Whippet Ranveli Diki Diki, for the 3rd consecutive year, and Aunty of mum is the very beautiful Collooney Tartan Tease World Winner and Crufts Best in Show winner 2018.
These dogs are definitely bred in the purple so you will have a puppy that would be a worthy competitor in any whippet show ring and I would say that there is not a litter of such calibre better than this in the UK at the moment so they should excel.
Alternatively, if showing is not your thing they will be equally happy to snuggle up to you on the sofa!! These puppies should reflect the breed standard of the whippet which can be found in more detail on the Kennel Club breed standard page.
A breed standard is the guideline which describes the ideal characteristics, temperament and appearance including the correct colour of a breed and ensures that the breed is fit for function.
The litter has a coefficient of 7.01% again see the Kennel Club website for more information. What this means for you is that the puppies should not have any nasty and costly genetic health problems for you to worry about as sadly a lot of breeds have (which unscrupulous breeders may fail to mention to the would-be buyer).
Whippets are generally a healthy breed, with a robust constitution. Having been bred for coursing, working, and racing for many years, they have maintained a structurally sound build. This long history of selective breeding has also helped them avoid many of the physical exaggerations that often lead to health issues in other breeds.
As a result, the Whippet is typically free from the common hereditary conditions found in more exaggerated dog types, making it a relatively low-maintenance breed in terms of health
The puppies were born on the 13th of December and will be ready for their new homes on the 7th of February. They will come after having been health checked, micro-Chipped and their first inoculation using the Nobivac L4 vaccine and will have been socialised as much as possible.
They will have been wormed every 2 weeks on Drontal/Panacur puppy wormer and will come with a puppy pack consisting of a collar and lead, water and food bowls, wormer, and a bed and blanket as well as 5 weeks free insurance from Agria.
They are being raised in my home currently enjoying the warmth of a heat lamp in my living room in a large whelping box with mum.
Mum is still feeding puppies but they will be weaned on to a raw diet mainly tripe, minced beef and minced chicken, and Royal Canin puppy food. They are growing chubbier by the day and their colours are starting to show. They are all a mixture of fawn and black brindles with white trim.
If you have read this far and are interested in having one of these puppies please think if you can give a 14/15-year commitment to looking after him/her and giving the very best care.
If the answer is Yes, please feel free to contact me with your details for viewing/reservation.
(If the answer is no then please don't waste my time and definitely don't get a dog). Please also do not contact me either if you are intending for puppy to live outside. Whippets love and need warmth and human contact.
These dogs certainly make beautiful family companions, requiring very little grooming as they have a minimal-shedding coat that is easy to manage due to its short, smooth texture and lack of an undercoat. They do not require lots of exercise as do some breeds in fact sleeping is something they take very seriously. They are extremely affectionate and loyal and have gentle temperaments.

I am very passionate about my dogs and ensuring that they get a first-class home is essential. I can provide as much help and advice to the you the prospective owner as you require for as long as you need. Updates, texts and photos will be made regularly to provide you with a progress report on your new puppy until he/she is ready for collection.
Puppies will be registered with the Kennel Club and will be chipped as is the law, and will have had their first inoculation. They will not have had their dew claws removed as nature intended for them to be present.
A reservation fee £120 will secure puppy until they are ready for their new homes and will be refunded in GENUINE circumstances. Please be warned that whippets are VERY addictive and the chances of you having at least 2 is very probable ask any whippet owner.
I would advise you to act quickly as puppies of this calibre do not come along very often
