We are looking for a new home for a dog we rescued after he was abandoned in a yard my husband worked in. He is a 4yo entire male Presa Canario. Vax history unknown but upto date with flea and worm. No other known health problems. He is a gentle giant who loves cuddles. He is super affectionate and loving. He is house trained, knows basic commands I.e sit, paw etc. He walks well on lead but can pull initially however he is easily corrected. He has good recall. He doesn’t like cats, is friendly with dogs but has fought with our other male dog (especially when our female is in heat) so I would recommend being an only dog or rehomed with a female. He is fine left alone as long as he is where he wants to be (sofa). Due to his history of being abandoned I fear he has some separation anxiety and does escape occasionally, looking for you when you leave. He can open doors so must be secured. Overall he is just a big puppy who wants love. Unfortunately we have two dogs and a baby and we cannot provide the level of care and attention he needs, plus the added issue of him fighting with our other dog. Please only enquire if you are serious and committed.
