Welcome to the announcement of our stunning litter of medium-sized F1b Labradoodles, born from extensively health-tested parents with excellent hip and elbow scores. With 14 years of dedicated breeding experience, I have acquired numerous qualifications, including certifications in Dog Trauma, Advanced Nutrition, Welfare and Behaviour, alongside holding the highest welfare licence available. For us, the well-being of our dogs is paramount, closely followed by their exceptional temperament.
Their mother, our intuitive full Poodle, possesses an extraordinary ability to connect with humans. She keenly senses every emotion, offering a comforting and appropriate response. Her remarkable nature is evident in her previous offspring, many of whom have successfully trained as assistance dogs, and one who proudly serves as a blood donor – a testament to her special disposition! The father boasts an equally wonderful, relaxed, and laid-back personality, a trait beautifully inherited by his puppies.
At Whos Doodles, our primary focus is on breeding well-adjusted family dogs with the inherent potential to excel as therapy or assistance animals. We firmly believe that any puppy raised in a nurturing and stimulating environment can thrive in such a role. We are committed to providing all our puppies with a strong foundation through comprehensive training from day one. Around 4-5 weeks old, they are introduced to agility equipment, an engaging activity that allows us to observe their problem-solving skills and natural curiosity.
From their earliest days, our puppies benefit from Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and scent introduction. Basic commands are gently introduced around the 6-week mark. This comprehensive early development is standard practice for us, never an added extra. We consider it our fundamental responsibility and a crucial aspect of ensuring a smooth transition to their new homes, whether they are destined for further training as therapy/assistance dogs or as cherished family members.
At Whos Doodles, our deep interest in canine genetics means you not only receive a well-raised puppy but also benefit from our extensive knowledge regarding coat types. Understanding coat genetics is far more nuanced than simply "more poodle" or "more Lab." It's about the specific genes the parents carry and their potential inheritance. This litter showcases a delightful variety of coat types and lengths, ranging from tight curls to medium and shaggy waves. Thanks to the genetic makeup of their parents, all our puppies will be non- or very low-shedding.
Furthermore, our passion for genetics extends to coat patterns. My understanding allows us to predict and appreciate the stunning array of colours and markings our pairings can produce. We are thrilled that this particular litter boasts some truly unique patterns, including rare brown phantom (girls only), a striking brown and white parti boy with phantom markings, and charming brown puppies with white markings.
