Description
Here we have my beloved daschund who is 4 years old and named cookie. I have had him since he was 5 months old. He is a very loyal dog however can be very protective of you. He isn’t good around other dogs when though we have another dog he keeps trying to bite him. He can snap at people on walks if they come too close to you. I am having to rehome due to having a baby and he is to protective of me and growls and snaps at people who come near me. I know with the right person he can be the most loyal and loving dog ever I just feel as though I can no longer give him the attention he needs and have been advised I cannot trust him around my newborn baby when she arrives. He is based in Nottingham and is fully up to date with his vaccinations and is microchipped

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
