Here is honey, our 7 month old dachshund. We are absolutely heartbroken to have to rehome her. We have come to the realisation that she needs a home where she is the only pup, we have another dachshund and honey does not like it when she gets any attention, she picks on her and unfortunately it is not fair on our other dog she’s losing weight and is stressed. Honey has been brought up in a loving household with kids she is amazing with them and does play nicely with other dogs she meets she just doesn’t do well with another dog living with her. She is crate trained and also is 90% toilet trained she will go outdoors but if she’s not let out regularly she will have accidents. She is your typical pup very energetic and loves a cuddle. We want her to go to a loving home where she can get all the attention she needs. She is used to being left for hours at a time but during this time does not have free rein of the house and was placed in the kitchen or in a pen.

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
