Description
I’m looking to rehome my 3-year-old male Cocker Spaniel. He is a high-energy dog with lots of personality who absolutely loves attention, walks, and being engaged with his person. He would thrive with someone who has plenty of time, structure, and experience.
He needs to be the only pet in the home and placed with an experienced, confident owner or professional who understands behavioural challenges and is committed to ongoing training. He will resource guard, and if challenged while guarding, he can react aggressively turn and he will rage and bite, so this must be managed by someone who knows how to handle this safely and correctly.
This is not a decision I’ve taken lightly. I want what’s best for him, and I believe he needs someone with the skills and time to work through these issues and give him the stable, structured life he deserves. Unfortunately this is the last chance for him otherwise we have to make the decision to put him to sleep.
