Danny and Dexter have come such a long way. Raised in a home where they never left the house, were never walked, and were kept crated, they arrived into foster at 1 year old terrified and shut down. They didn’t want to eat or even leave their crate.
But with the patience and love of their foster mum, these boys have blossomed. They now live for fuss, affection, and human connection. They absolutely adore their foster mum and will give their future person that same unconditional love and loyalty. 💕
These boys have been incredibly brave, but they are still sensitive and nervous, especially on walks. Danny, in particular, is wary of traffic. Toilet training is going really well, and their confidence is growing daily.
They need a home that is:
Kind, calm, and experienced with nervous dogs
Patient – allowing them to continue adjusting at their own pace
Dog-free ideally, as they may compete for attention in the home, though they enjoy doggy play
Child-free – teens (mid-teens+) and up only please
Though their start in life was bleak, these two now shine with hope. We know it’s a big ask to home a pair, but they are bonded, and separating them would be a step backward. We truly believe there is a special person out there ready to give them both the life they’ve never had.
