Benny is a very loving boy in need of a home that can give him the time, training and attention he deserves.
We originally took on Benny after being told he was fully trained, no issues, walks well on lead and just needed someone at home with him more often. Unfortunately, this is not the case for Benny. He gets over excited when he's being shown attention and fuss, becoming very boisterous quite quickly. He has a chewing problem and does pull on the lead. If we had been made aware of his bad habits, we wouldn't have taken him on as we arent able to give him the training he needs.
Hes a very sweet boy and does just want to be loved. There are no resource guarding issues, he's been absolutely fine with recent fireworks. He's house trained and does know a few basic commands.
When we first took Benny on, he was very skinny. He has bulked out very nicely and I believe he has some more growth left in him!
He's been very good with our daughter, we were told he is good with other dogs but we havent seen this first hand to confirm. He was very good in the car when we first picked him up.
He is shy of new people, but after someone is sat down in the house for 5 minutes, they're a new best friend for him. He warms up very very quickly.
It's not been an easy decision to rehome him as he's such a sweet boy, but as I'm heavily pregnant, I can't give him the training he needs.
