We are unfortunately having to rehome our beautiful family dog due to our youngest daughter’s additional needs. We would recommend Draig to not be rehomed with young children as he is an anxious dog. We have had him since he was a puppy but due to our 3 years daughter’s additional needs he has found it increasingly hard. He is well trained and is very affectionate with myself and my husband and our other children. He is responsive to commands and comes with everything including a harness and recall lead. Draig has been raw fed since a puppy and will come with whatever food we have left in the freezer. We will be home checking to make sure he is rehomed to a suitable home. We won’t just let him go to anyone. We would like prospective new owners to visit us and we will be asking to visit you prior to any meeting of Draig to make sure all his needs can be met as well as details of your vet. We would prefer him to go to a new home with experienced German shepherd owners. Draig is great with other dogs and his bouncy playful puppy side soon comes out as we also have a small dog. so he can be rehomed with another dog after suitable meetings. This is a very reluctant sale but the effect it is having on both our youngest and Draig is not healthy for either of them. We have all his paperwork. Draig knows commands in both English and Welsh due to my husbands heritage. Draig has not been neutered yet. We would ask the new owners to neuter him.
