It is with a very heavy heart that I’m looking to rehome my lovely German Shepherd, Missy. She was born on 01/03/2024, so she’s still young and full of energy and potential.
This is a very genuine and honest post as I want to make sure whoever takes Missy on does so with all the information they need.
I’m a single parent with two children, and unfortunately, I’m struggling to give Missy the time and consistency she deserves.
This is not an easy decision, but it’s the right one for her.
Missy is:
✅ Up to date with flea and worming treatments
✅ Microchipped
✅ Good with children, though she can be boisterous and playful
🐕 She can be a little temperamental with smaller, yappy dogs, but she’s generally fine with dogs when introduced properly.
She does pull on the lead and her recall is hit and miss although it isn’t none existent. I do use a halti head collar and training lead to help with the pulling.
She does have knowledge of basic commands, sit, down, wait, and I know that Missy would thrive in a home with someone experienced with German Shepherds — someone who understands the breed and can give her the training, time, and guidance she needs. In the right hands, she’ll make an amazing, loyal companion.
No time wasters or breeders please. This is a genuine and heartfelt rehome, and I want to make sure she goes to a loving, knowledgeable home where she’ll reach her full potential.
