We have made the very hard decision to rehome our beautiful Ernie, due to no fault of his own but our personal lifestyle change.
Ernie is a loving boy with lots of energy, he’s got a big personality, eager to learn and loves a cuddle. He has all the basic obedience skills.
We bought Ernie at 8 weeks old and has been a family pet since. He is okay with most dogs but can be over powering as he easily forgets his size. This has caused some aggression/retaliation in the past. Ernie cannot be homed with cats or other small animals.
Ernie has been around children before and as long as they’re confident with large breeds we’ve never experienced any issues but him forgetting his size needs to be kept in mind.
Ernie does suffer with separation anxiety so would be best suited with someone who is around most the day and able to give him the time and guidance to overcome it. The separation consists of excessive barking and scratching at the door you leave from.
We want to make sure Ernie goes to the right home so will be keen to understand potential new owner's experience, suitability and lifestyle. If both sides feel Ernie would be a good fit we’re happy to do a meet and greet.
Price isn’t set in stone, we’re more concerned in finding the correct forever home where his needs can be met.
Ernie is KC registered and microchipped and will come with all the paperwork.
He’s available for rehome from date of post.
