We have a variety of female fancy mice looking for their new families. Mice make wonderful companions, they are friendly, sociable and fascinating to watch when cared for correctly. Please enquire as to what mice we have still available. We are closing down the mousery so we have a large range of mice available, from 10 weeks old to retired breeders.
These girls are for pet homes only unless evidence is provided that shows your breeding practice aligns to our ethical standards. They come from healthy, established lines within our mousery. They have never bitten or shown signs of aggression, nor are they excessively skittish or nervous when cared for correctly.
Female fancy mice need to be housed in groups of 3+. We will only home mice in trios or more unless you already own fancy mice, in which case we can home them in pairs to add to a pre-existing group
The minimum cage size requirement is roughly 80cm x 50cm x 50cm. The enclosure must have good ventilation as well as both burrowing and climbing opportunities. We prefer kiln-dried, dust-extracted wood shavings as substrate. Paper based bedding must only be used for nesting areas. Food should be scatter fed throughout the cage to encourage foraging behaviour and exercise.
