Description
Regrettably and with a very heavy heart, as we’ve only had Bertie for over a month, but I have run into some health issues that mean we are unable to focus on him as much as he needs.
He has been fully vaccinated (3 vaccinations) and I have his records. We wanted to give him full protection against parvo due to his size so opted to have his final vaccination on Friday 24th October. He does not require any further vaccinations until next year 24th October 2026. He weighs around 3.1kg currently and is 80% fluff!
We are only willing to give him to an excellent home where he will be loved, adored and get all the attention he needs.
He is crate trained at night (he does not soil his crate for 6-8 hours with the door closed) and sleeps very well in his crate. He is taken out first thing in the morning to go to the toilet which he does without fail. He also uses his crate during the day, but we leave the door open. It is his safe space!
He has started learning the standard commands (sit, lie down, up, down, drop it, leave it, etc) and does most of those quite well. He is very affectionate and loves going for walks! He is well socialised - does not bark at anything outside (eg other dogs, prams, bikes, etc) although he may stop walking when curious about something!
He is calm and settles during the day when we work but also loves to play tug of war, fetch and has a lot of toys to keep him occupied when it is playtime.
He does well on all modes of transport - tube, buses, trains, cars. Absolutely no issues.
Before bed, he does insist on having goodnight cuddles and kisses before we settle him into his crate for the night. He is very, very sweet and we will miss him so, so much.
He is truly a very special puppy and we are hoping to find the perfect family for him. He has been around people of all ages - babies, children, adults, elderly. We are stopped constantly when out and about by people and children who want to say hello. He gets A LOT of attention because of how cute he is!
He will come with:
- food
- toys
- crate
- playpen
- harnesses and leads
- slicker brush
- grooming kit (combs, scissors)
- paw trimmer
- his shampoo and conditioner
- food bowls
- treats that he likes
We would love to get to know you more if you’re interested in homing Bertie.
