Iβm sadly looking to rehome my two lesser tenrecs. Theyβre from the same litter and believed to be both females. Theyβre completely bondedβalways together, whether playing, cuddling, or sleeping.
π Very friendly and social β they enjoy being handled and love cuddles
π½οΈ Healthy and well-fed β they eat a mix of live food and scrambled egg
π Nocturnal β they sleep during the day and are active and playful at night
πββοΈ Love exploring β they enjoy time outside their enclosure and are very curious
Theyβre both healthy, active, and used to human interaction. Would love them to go to someone familiar with tenrec care or willing to learn, as theyβre a bit of a unique species.
Their setup (included with them) comes with

β’ 2 balconies, a hanging playground, 3 hides, a bridge

β’ Lights are on during the day for their sleep cycle and off at night when they wake
Theyβve been such a joy to care for, so itβs important they go to a loving home where theyβll continue to be handled and given the time they need.
