Description
Rada has flown to the uk and is looking for her forever home . She is 4 years old and is currently in Woking in Surrey
This is what her foster says about her
Since coming to the UK Rada has made a huge amount of progress settling into a home environment. At home she is now a calm, and well-mannered dog. She is fully house-trained, clean, and very respectful of her environment. She knows basic commands such as sit and lie down, and she takes treats gently. She settles well, enjoys a consistent routine, and sleeps quietly through the night - sleeping in her crate, which she is fully comfortable with. She is happily left alone in the house for appropriate periods and is very settled in her home environment.
Rada has a lovely, relaxed side to her—she is a keen sunbather and enjoys finding a warm spot to lie in. She is also gentle with her belongings and looks after her toys as treasures. Rada is not a habitual barker. She is generally quiet and will only bark when she feels it is necessary, such as when alerting to something unfamiliar.
Rada is not particularly food-driven; she eats what she needs and is currently on a raw diet. That said, she does enjoy a treat before bedtime as part of her routine.
She generally walks well on the lead using a canny collar and harness, though she would benefit from building a stronger connection and focus with her handler when out and about. Rada has mixed reactivity towards other dogs and can be reactive to small animals, especially cats and squirrels. Because of this, she will need an experienced owner who understands and can confidently manage this behaviour.
She has only been let off lead in secure fields and would benefit from recall training in a safe and controlled environment.
In terms of people, she has made huge progress and is now calm and happy and currently lives with a family of four, including children. However, due to her needs - particularly outdoors - she would be better suited to a home with older children (12+), or ideally an adult-only home, a couple, or a single owner. She prefers calm, adult company. She does not suffer from separation anxiety and is content when left alone for appropriate periods.
Rada would thrive in a calm, structured home with a secure garden and an experienced owner who can continue her training and provide the consistency she needs. She has so much to offer in the right environment and is a loving, loyal companion in the home.
Rada has no known health issues and is vaccinated, microchipped and microchipped
