Dexter is looking for a new active family that can give him the time and attention he deserves. He was a year old in October. He is fully toilet trained and will sit and give paw. He is an amazing loving dog, and is great with kids. However as we have a young toddler, we have been having to keep him separate and let him out of his area when the toddler is safely out the way or in bed. She won’t listen to us, and Dexter is far too excitable to stay still for 5 mins! He is a typical Dobermann, a Velcro dog. He needs/wants to be by our side 24/7, and sadly he isn’t getting this which is making us sad as he will whine when he’s shut on his own. He will require a lot of brain nourishment! He knows how to open a child gate! He’s so clever! He will also need long walks as he has so much energy. He loves chewing nylabones and extreme kongs. A teddy won’t last two minutes!
He is an intact male, and is very strong despite not being fully grown yet.
