ELSA is a special dog for us and for the volunteers from the communal ”shelter” where she was brought by some dog wardens.
Initially, the ladies -who alerted us and asked our help to find a home for her- were sending us photos and videos with ELSA walking happily on a lead. She has even passed her test with cats. But she was crying a lot when they brought her back to the kennels. She was crying for hours until a day when her crying stopped… she was very silent and with a lost look on her face. She became resigned / she came to terms with her cruel fate.
That is how ELSA was in our fosterer’s place, after we got her out of those miserable kennels. She seemed like she forgot to … live. Luckily, she came round perfectly, after a few days and she is a happy girl again. Friendly with everybody, including other dogs and very affectionate to her humans.
She weighs around 18 Kg.
She has been thoroughly checked by our Vets, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped.
We’ve had her spayed, too.
ELSA is affectionate and playful.
You can meet her anytime in Devon (EX39 3PZ) where she is being fostered, but we should also be able to organise her transport to you, almost anywhere in the UK.

Home-Check (even done online, at times) is mandatory.
We do NOT supply dogs to non-genuine Dog-Loving people. There are all kind out there... can’t be too careful !
We do not supply work, assistance or service dogs, regardless of what noble/moral it would be ! We will need your promise that ELSA will reside as a PET in your Home and she will be well looked-after and loved !
Should you adopt her - you will also agree to keep in touch with us for years to come - so we can help with any issues.
You must have your own garden and no children under 10 years old to adopt a dog from our rescue.
We are a 100% genuine and transparent Rescue and are doing substantial efforts to save these lives.
We do not encourage breeding and we are actively involved in actions of neutering stray dogs.
We reserve the right to ask any (different) price / donation for our rescue dogs - depending on circumstances. In most cases, we are not covering the costs ! Anyway, we are flexible and open(...minded) to discuss over the price with the right potential adopters.
Our preferred method of contact is over the phone or WhatsApp - as we work during the day, with limited access to emails ; it is also more expedient - we can exchange most information in one go.
We keep in touch with all adopters (more than 500 families, so far). We can provide good references from any of them.
As we do with most of our doggies, we can bring ELSA almost anywhere in the country and you won’t have to pay a penny until you have her !
