We are sadly looking to rehome our much-loved dog due to a change in our circumstances which means we are no longer able to give him the time and care he deserves. He is a very good boy — friendly, well-behaved, and a joy to have around. Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
