Luna has been part of our family since she was a pup and is deeply loved. She’s loyal, intelligent, and has a very sensitive soul — which unfortunately means she is now struggling in our busy home.
We now have three young children (ages 6, 3, and 8 months), and Luna is increasingly anxious and overwhelmed by the noise and activity. She has started growling when the children go near her, and while she has never bitten, I can see that she is constantly stressed and unable to relax.
She also suffers from compulsive behaviour, mainly chasing shadows and reflections, and she nudges doors and walls to try and create light movement. It's distressing for both her and us, and it’s not something love alone can fix.
This decision breaks my heart, but I know now that Luna would be much happier in a calm, quiet home with no young children or other pets, ideally in the countryside or with access to a garden or space where she can relax. She needs someone who understands collies and their emotional sensitivity — someone patient, gentle, and able to help her feel safe.

Please only get in touch if you can offer a stable, quiet home with no young children or pets, and ideally some experience with anxious dogs or Border Collies. This is a very painful decision and I will only let her go to someone who will love her as much as we do.
